DETERMINAREA CENTROIZILOR DE ZONA PENTRU SUPRAFETELE TERESTRE. APLICATIE: DETERMINAREA CENTRULUI GEOGRAFIC AL ROMANIEI

Rezumat: Determinarea centrului geografic al unei tari este motivata in primul rand prin posibilitatea de a exploata in interes turistic titulatura de „centru geografic”. Este interesant ca nu este cunoscut (sau, cel putin, recunoscut) centrul geografic al Romaniei, astfel ca exista toate motivele pentru a considera aceasta problema nerezolvata si obiectivul lucrarii de fata este descoperirea acestui punct. Utilizand cunoscuta metoda din mecanica pentru determinarea centrului de greutate al suprafetelor complexe si modelul sferic pentru suprafata pamantului, au fost obtinute relatiile matematice prin care este determinata latitudinea medie si longitudinea medie pentru o suprafata terestra si, utilizand programul GoogleEarth, a fost aproximat conturul Romaniei prin coordonate geografice. In final, au fost obtinute coordonatele pentru centrul geografic al Romaniei - 45°48'21, 6" N / 24°59'17, 6" E – care a fost localizat in sudul orasului Fagaras. Ca urmare, pe baza acestei determinari orasul Fagaras poate revendica titulatura de „centrul geografic al Romaniei”.

Abstract: Determining the geographical center of a country is primarily motivated by the opportunity to exploit the touristic name of ”geographic center”. It is noted that currently is not known (or at least acknowledged) the geographic center of Romania, so there are every reasons to consider this an unresolved issue and the objectiv of this paper is to find this point. Using the known method from Mechanics for determining the center of gravity of a complex surface and the spherical model for the earth's surface, was obtained the mathematical relationships through which are determined the average latitude and the average longitude for a terrestrial area and using the program GoogleEarth was approximated the contour of Romania by geographical coordinates. Finally, were obtained the coordinates for the geographic center of Romania – 45°48'21, 6" N / 24°59'17, 6" E – which is found in the southern town of the southern town of F?g?ra?. Thus, based on this determination, F?g?ra? city can claim the title of „the geographic center of Romania”
