Rezumat: Sistemele de management al traficului sunt utilizate, de obicei, in scopul reducerii congestionarii traficului si al cresterii sigurantei acestuia. Principalele surse de poluare la nivel european sunt autoturismele. In lucrarea de fata se prezinta efectul acestor sisteme asupra emisiilor vehiculelor si poluarii. Sunt prezentate diferite tipuri de sisteme de management al traficului si o evaluare a posibilelor efecte ale acestora asupra emisiilor vehiculelor si consumul de combustibil.

Abstract: Traffic management systems are used usually to try to reduce congestion and improve road safety. The main sources of pollution at European level are cars. In the present paper, it presents the effect of these traffic management systems on vehicles emissions and pollutions. It presented the most frequently types used by traffic management systems and assessment of their possible effects on vehicle emissions and consumption of fuel
