Vocalitatea belliniană, aspectele muzicale și teatrale

Rezumat: Dacă în marea majoritate a Europei romantismul s-a manifestat mai ales prin muzica instrumentală, în Italia, opera a fost cea care i-a întrupat aspiraţiile. Melodist prin excelenţă, Vincenzo Bellini nu se dezminte și utilizează în general o linie melodică ce poate rămâne în urechea și sufletul melomanilor, fiind evitate intervalele mari. Bellini are un limbaj muzical epurat de excese melismatice, dar păstrând marca de virtuozitate, melodramma romantică, încorporând principiile bel canto-ului, ce dobândește strălucire şi perfecţiune.Vocea la Bellini se integrează perfect în contextul muzical, asociată cu instrumentele apropiate timbral, din dorinţa de diversificare, atât de necesară expresivităţii romantice, fiecare element al discursului muzical contribuind la integrarea vocii în actul de creaţie artistică.
