INFLUENCE OF FOLIAR FERTILIZATION ON SOME QUALITATIVE ELEMENTS OF BARLEY FOR THE BREWING INDUSTRY IN CLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF TIMISOARA

Rezumat: Avand in vedere faptul ca fertilizarea este una dintre masurile care, aplicate corespunzator, duce la cresterea productiei si implicit a calitatii acesteia, multe cercetari efectuate in ultimul timp s-au axat pe gasirea unor formule optime pentru aceasta. Lucrarea de fata isi propune sa analizeze efectul fertilizarii foliare asupra acumularii amidonului atat in cariopse cat si in substanta uscata. Din analiza rezultatelor privind continutul de amidon se constata ca acesta este influentat mai mult de fertilizantii foliari decat de soiuri. Diferentele dintre variante privind continutul de amidon sunt mai evidente in cazul raportarii la substanta uscata. Din analiza rezultatelor privind continutul de amidon din boabele de orz si orzoaica de toamna pentru bere se constata ca in majoritatea variantelor experimentale realizate prin utilizarea unor fertilizanti foliari, continutul de amidon depaseste 61%. Cele mai mari valori ale continutului de amidon in substanta uscata se inregistreaza la soiul Trasko (65%) in agrofondul pe care s-a folosit ca fertilizant foliar Plantfert U.

Abstract: Given the fact that fertilization is one of the measures which, properly applied, lead to increased production and hence its quality, more research carried out lately have focused on identifying the optimal formula. This paper aims to examine the effect of foliar fertilization on the accumulation of starch both in cariopse and in the dry matter. Analyzing the results of the starch is found that it is influenced more than foliar fertilizer of sorts. Differences between the versions on the starch content is more obviously in the reporting of the dry matter. The analysis resulted on the starch content of grains of winter barley for beer are found in most experimental variations achieved through the use of foliar fertilizers, the starch content exceeds 61%. The highest values of dry matter starch content was recorded in the variety Trasko (65%) in the agro that was used as a foliar fertilizer Plantfert U.
