Rezumat: Asociatia Generala a Inginerilor din Romania – A.G.I.R. s-a infiintat la Iasi in 1918. Scopurile A.G.I.R. au fost: rolul tehnic si economic pentru interesul general al tarii; sustinerea intereselor clasei ingineresti; rolul social pentru ridicarea tarii si a poporului romanesc. Aniversarile si activitatile A.G.I.R. au fost marcate de Posta Romana prin emisiuni de marci postale (1943 – 25 de ani de activitate; 1945 – Congresul al XVI-lea; 1947 – Congresul al XVII-lea; 1993 – 75 de ani de la infiintarea AGIR; 2001 – 75 de ani de la infiintarea AGIR, supratipar „Locomotiva”), plicuri cu marca tiparita (1997 – Al 25-lea Congres al AGIR; 2006 – SINGRO 2006; 2008 – AGIR–90 de ani de la infiintare) si plicuri prima zi (FDC) (1993 – 75 de ani de la infiintarea AGIR), ducand la raspandirea si popularizarea rezultatelor A.G.I.R. S-au mai produs plicuri prima zi (1947 – Congresul al XVII-lea al AGIR; 2001 - 75 de ani de la infiintarea AGIR, supratipar „Locomotiva”) si aniversare/comemorative (2013 – 95 de ani de la infiintarea Asociatiei Generale a Inginerilor din Romania) in completarea materialelor produse de Posta Romana

Abstract: General Association of Engineers in Romania – AGIR – was established in Ia?i in 1918. Aims of A.G.I.R. were: technical and economic role for the general interest of the country, supporting engineering class interests, raising the country's social role and Romanian people. Anniversaries and activities of A.G.I.R. were marked by the Romanian Post by postage stamps (1943 -25 years of activity, 1945 - XVI Congress of AGIR, 1947 – XVII Congress of AGIR: 1993 - 75 years of the AGIR establishing, 2001 - 75 years of AGIR establishing, "Locomotive" overprint), stamp imprinted covers (1997 - 25th Congress of AGIR, 2006 – SINGRO 2006; 2008 – AGIR – 90th Anniversary) and the first day covers (FDC) (1993 - 75 years of AGIR establishing) leading to spread and popularize the results of AGIR There were also produced the first day covers (1947 - XVII Congress of AGIR, 2001-75 years after the AGIR establishment, “Locomotive" overprint) and commemorative/anniversary (2013 – 95 years after the establishment of the General Association of Engineers in Romania) to complete materials produced by the Romanian Post
