Rezumat
Prezenta lucrare descrie sistemul actual de monitorizare a deseurilor periculoase generate in unitatile sanitare si reliefeaza inconvenientele intalnite in implementarea acestui sistem in ultimii ani. In procesul de transmitere si colectare a informatiei au aparut adesea distorsiuni care prezentau o imagine falsa asupra realitatilor, precum si neatingerea tintelor propuse in strategia de gestionare a deseurilor la nivelul unitatii sanitare. In sensul minimizarii acestor inconveniente, lucrarea isi propune stabilirea elementelor cheie care pot contribui la imbunatatirea sistemului actual de monitorizare, si recomanda solutii noi pentru colectarea informatiilor referitoare la cantitatea de deseuri medicale generate in unitatile sanitare.

Abstract
This paper describes the current system of monitoring of hazardous waste generated in hospitals and highlights the drawbacks outlined in implementing this system in recent years. In the collection and transmission of information, often appeared distorded presenting a false picture of reality, and attainment of the targets proposed waste management strategy in the health units. In minimization of these drawbacks, the paper aims to establish key elements which can help improve the current monitoring system, and
recommends new solutions for collecting information on medical waste generated in health care units
