Rezumat
Masivele de pământ sunt structuri deosebit de complexe din punct de vedere al modelării matematice datorită unor factori ca: diversitatea materialelor incorporate, cu proprietăţi fizico-mecanice foarte variate, cu legi de comportare marcant neliniare, natura bifazică constituită din solid si apă a acestor materiale complică şi mai mult problema. Evaluarea răspunsului seismic al constructţilor masive din materiale locale şi proiectarea antiseismică a acestora, multa vreme s-a rezumat la aprecierea stabilităţii taluzurilor. În aceasta lucrare sunt prezentate aspectele specifice şi influenţa asupra răspunsului seismic al construcţiilor masive din materiale locale.

Abstract
The massive earth structures are very complex in terms of mathematical modeling due to such factors as: the variety of material embedded with physical and mechanical properties very different, with laws of behavior markedly nonlinear, nature biphasic consisting of solid and water of these materials complicates further problem. Evaluation of seismic response of massive constructions made of local materials and seismic design of their long was limited to slope stability assessment. In this paper we present the specific issues and the influence on seismic response of massive constructions made of local materials.
