Rezumat
Lucrarera prezinta aspecte privind inovarea in aeronautica si in principal contributiile romanilor de la inceputul
secolului XX prin realizarile lui Traian Vuia, Aurel Vlaicu si Henri Coanda, urmate de cele ale inginerilor Radu Manicatide si
Iosif Silimon care au coordonat proiectarea si fabricarea a peste 30 de tipuri de planoare, motoplanoare si avioane
concretizate in peste 800 de aeronave utilizate pana in prezent in aviatia militara si aviatia civila din Romania. Una dintre
cele mai recente realizari de exceptie o reprezinta avionul cu motor electric Elektra One conceput si realizat in Germania de
inginerul de aviatie din Brasov Calin Gologan care a lucrat la inceputi la biroul de calcule din cadrul societatii I.C.A. Brasov si
care este in prezent Presedintele firmei P.C. AERO din Germania, autorizata pentru proiectarea si certificarea de aeronave.
Abstract
The paper presents aspects of innovation in aeronautics and mainly Romanians contributions from the early
twentieth century by the achievements of Trajan Vuia, Henri Coand? and Aurel Vlaicu, followed by those of the engineers Radu Manicatide ande Iosif ?ilimon who coordinated the design and manufacture of over 30 types of gliders, enginegliders
and airplanes, materialized in more than 800 units currently used by military and civil aviation in Romania. One of the latest achievements of exception is the electric engine Elektra One plane, designed and built in Germany by C?lin Gologan, an aviation engineer from Brasov, who first worked in the calculations office of the company ICA – Bra?ov and
is currently President of the company PC AERO in Germany, approved for the design and certification of aircraft.
