Rezumat
Congestionarea traficului rutier urban a devenit o problemă majoră cu care ne confruntăm aproape în fiecare zi, în special pe direcţia de deplasare către şi dinspre locul de muncă. În scopul reducerii timpilor şi a cozilor de aşteptare, în lucrarea de faţă, cercetările sunt orientate spre identificarea unei soluţii în vederea eficientizării fluxului circulaţiei rutiere. Studiul propus s-a realizat la nivelul unei intersecţii aglomerate din municipiul Craiova, fiind modelate şi analizate trei situaţii de reglementare a traficului rutier, respectiv: intersecţie semaforizată, sens giratoriu şi pasaj suprateran.

Abstract
Urban traffic congestion has become a major problem that we are dealing with almost every day, especially on the way to and back from work. In order to reduce the waiting times and the queues, the present paper underpins a close research study to put forward novel solutions for traffic flow streamline.
