Rezumat
T. În acest studiu sunt prezentate câteva aspecte ale vieții și operei distinsului om de cultură, creator, cercetător și istoric al științei și tehnicii românești: prof. univ. emerit dr. ing. Nicolae P. Leonăchescu DHC al Universității din Craiova. Cercetător asiduu al arhivelor românești și străine, Nicolae P. Leonăchescu, a fost omul care a știut ca nimeni altul să-și organizeze memoria, în acest sens stă drept mărturie și ultima sa carte „Sumare dintr-o viață“ – o carte atipică devenită model de organizare a memoriei.

Abstract
In this study are presented several aspects of life and scientific and cultural activity of the distinguish researcher and historian of Romanian science and technology: prof. univ. dr. eng. Nicolae P. Leonăchescu Doctor Honoris Causa of Craiova University. A regular researcher of the Romanian and foreign archives, Nicolae P. Leonăchescu, was the man who knew that no one else could organize his memory. In this sense he stands as a testimony his last book "Summary of a life“ - an atypical book become model of memory organization.
