APPILCABILITY PRINCIPLES OF THERMAL SPRAYING

Rezumat: Pulverizarea termica este un domeniu, folosit cu succes in ingineria suprafetei ,datorita versatilitatii si gamei largi de materiale de depunere utilizate (metalice, compozite,ceramice, aliaje cu memoria formei, cermeti). Se exemplifica interdisciplinaritatea domeniului pulverizarii termice si preocuparile constant diversificate ale domeniului. Avantajele si dezavantajele aplicarii pulverizarii termice sunt prezentate, la fel si principalele organisme ce supravegheaza acest domeniu.


Abstract: Thermal spraying is a domain used successfully in the engineering field, because of the versatility and wide range of deposition material used (metal, composite, ceramic, shape memory alloys, cermets). It is exemplified the interdisciplinary field of thermal spraying and diverse concerns of the domain. Advantages and disadvantages of thermal spraying application are presented, as well as the main bodies that oversee this domain.
