PROVOCARI SI PERSPECTIVE IN PROCESUL DE FABRICARE A LENTILELOR CU SUPRAFETE ASFERICE

Rezumat: Lucrarea de fata abordeaza aspecte privind unele etape din tehnologia de fabricare prin injectie a lentilelor cu suprafete asferice din materiale plastice. Identificarea provocarilor, atat din perspectiva etapelor procesului tehnologic utilizat dar si a complexitatii suprafetelor lentilelor, suplimentat de simularea procesului de injectie propriuzis si de compararea rezultatelor permite ajustarea parametrilor de injectie atat la nivel de material dar si de matrita. Perspectivele furnizate de utilizarea unei astfel de tehnologii sunt comparabile, chiar superioare tehnologiilor clasice de fabricare si costurilor de productie.

Abstract: The herein paper approaches few aspects related to the plastic aspherical lens injection moulding process. Identification of specific challenges both tehnology related and complexity of the lens surface geometry, adding the FEM simulation of the molding injection process itself and data comparison may allow adjustments of the injection parameters from both material and injection molding perspective. Future trends in the injection process development and new polymer materials synthesis may help manufacturing cost reduction and preference for the herein technology.
