Rezumat: In lucrare se prezinta modalitati de identificare a programelor pentru optimizarea semaforizarii in intersectii. Modelele ofera oportunitatea de a evalua strategii de control si planificare a traficului la anumite ore si pe anumite artere fara a folosi resurse costisitoare si consumatoare de timp necesare pentru implementarea strategiilor alternative in domeniu. Totodata modelele de simulare imbunatatesc procesul de luare a deciziilor de catre planificatorii si specialistii din domeniul transporturilor.

Abstract: The paper presents methods of traffic light optimization programs at the intersections. The models offer the opportunity to evaluate control strategies and traffic planification in certain timeframes and on certain arteries, without using costly and time-consuming resources for the implementation of the alternative strategies in the field. Moreover, the simulation models enchance the decision making process for the planners and transport specialists
