Abstract: Currently, electrical distribution networks supply a growing number of single-phase customers with unbalanced phase distribution, which determines inefficient operating conditions for these networks. This is a negative consequence which increases power losses in electricity distribution lines and transformers. This paper presents a method for calculating active energy losses in a real distribution network based on a stochastic approach.
