INTERRELATIA DINTRE FACTORII DE MEDIU SI TROMBOEMBOLISMUL PULMONAR - REALITATE SAU MIT?

Rezumat: Relatia intre antecedentele tromboembolice pulmonare si anotimp, clima este controversata si adesea negata. Observatia clinica sugereaza insa o incidenta crescuta a acestora in anumite perioade ale anului in zona noastra geografica. Ne-am propus cercetarea unei relatii posibile intre incidenta, forma clinica, particularitatile etiologice ale tromboembolismului pulmonar si parametrii meteorologici zonali si de poluare atmosferica pentru anul 2012. Am studiat 67 de cazuri internate in spital, prin departamentul de urgenta. Rezultatele sugereaza existenta unei corelatii intre clima si incidenta TEP, in ceea ce priveste presiunea atmosferica si diferentele de temperatura - in special in zilele uscate si reci cu scaderea indicelui de confort termic. Calitatea aerului, cu poluare regionala ridicata si condensare poate reprezenta, de asemenea, un factor in relatie cu cresterea incidentei regionale a TEP.

Abstract: The relationship between pulmonary thromboembolic (PTE) events and season, climate is controversial and often denied. However, clinical observation suggests an increased incidence at certain times of the year. We have proposed the research of a possible relationship between the incidence, clinical form, etiological features of pulmonary thromboembolism and local meteorological parameters for 2012. The 67 cases of PTE admitted through the emergency department were analyzed in parallel with data on atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity and wind speed index. The results suggest the existence of an interrelation between climate and the incidence of PTE, especially regarding atmospheric pressure and mean temperature; results that can be related with a possible geographical particularity. This knowledge could lead to taking preventive measures and reducing the incidence
