TRIBUTE TO HENRI COANDA - AVIATION ENGINEER AND INVENTOR OF THE JET PLANE1

Rezumat: The present work, held in the plenary session in the plenary of the 27th edition of the IMANEE 2023 conference, but unpublished to date, aims to refresh the memory of the participants with some data about the life and achievements of our illustrious forefather, who was the scholar Henri Coanda. This conference, in addition to specialized papers, presented directly or online in the seven sections of the Innovative Manufacturing Engineering & Energy Conference, is linked to a particularly important event, namely the inauguration of the Henri Coanda Hall/Aula4, in memory of the aviation engineer and the father of reactive aviation who formerly Henri Coanda.

Abstract: Lucrarea de față, prezentată în ședința plenară din plenul celei de-a 27-a ediții a conferinței IMANEE 2023, însă nepublicată până în prezent, își propune să împrospăteze memoria participanților cu câteva date despre viața și realizările ilustrului nostru strămoș, care a fost savantul Henri Coanda. Această conferință, pe lângă lucrările de specialitate, prezentate direct sau online în cele șapte secțiuni ale Conferinței Innovative Manufacturing Engineering & Energy, este legată de un eveniment deosebit de important, și anume inaugurarea Aulei Henri Coanda, în memoria inginerului aviatic și părintele aviației reactive, fost Henri Coanda.
