INGINERIA 4.0: O PROVOCARE, O AMENINȚARE SAU UN PAS CĂTRE VIITOR?

Rezumat: În ultimele decenii, lumea industrială a trecut prin transformări spectaculoase. Termeni precum „Industria 4.0” sau „Ingineria 4.0” au devenit omniprezenți în di scursurile despre viitorul muncii și al producției. În esență, acești termeni definesc cea de a patra revoluție industrială, în care digitalizarea, automatizarea, conectivitatea și inteligența artificială schimbă fundamental modul în care se proiectează, p roduce și livrează produse și servicii [1]. Termenul Industry 4.0 a fost introdus inițial într un program de strategie tehnologică avansată al guvernului german în 2011, dar a devenit larg cunoscut abia după ce a fost adoptat de Forumul Economic Mondial în 2016. Spre deosebire de revoluțiile anterio are, aceasta evoluează într un ritm exponențial. Datorită vitezei, domeniului de aplicare și impactului său, Industry 4.0 aduce schimbări majore, cu implicații, oportunități și riscuri pentru întreprinderi și societate. Lucrarea studiază impactul Inginerie i 4.0 din trei perspective esențiale: provocare, amenințare și oportunitate pentru viitor.

Abstract: In recent decades, the industrial world ha s undergone spectacular transformations. Terms such as "Industry 4.0" or "Engineering 4.0" have become ubiquitous in discourses about the future of work and production. Essentially, these terms define the fourth industrial revolution, in which digitization , automation, connectivity and artificial intelligence are fundamentally changing the way products and services are designed, produced and delivered [1]. The term Industry 4.0 was originally introduced in an advanced technology strategy program of the Germ an government in 2011, but only became widely known after it was adopted by the World Economic Forum in 2016. Unlike previous revolutions, it is evolving at an exponential pace. Due to its speed, scope and impact, Industry 4.0 brings major changes with imp lications, opportunities and risks for business and society. This paper studies the impact of Engineering 4.0 from three key perspectives: challenge, threat and opportunity for the future.
