AUTONOMOUS MARITIME SYSTEMS IN MODERN WARFARE: OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE MAGURA NAVAL DRONE IN THE UKRAINIAN CONFLICT

Rezumat: Ansamblul conflictelor armate contemporane, desfășurate pe mare sau în mediul naval, se remarcă prin integrarea sistemelor autonome fără echipaj uman și a celor cu control de la distanță, precum și prin amploarea utilizării acestora în zonele de conflict. Prezenta lucrare își propune să evidențieze unul dintre primele exemple de astfel de sisteme autonome din Europa de Est, analizând princi piile de funcționare, domeniile de aplicare și impactul asupra războiului naval.

Abstract: Contemporary armed conflicts, whether at sea or in the naval environment, are characterized by the integration of autonomous unmanned systems and remotely piloted systems, as well as by their widespread use in zones of conflict. This paper aims to highlight one of the first examples of such teleoperated autonomous systems in Eastern Europe, analyzing their operating principles, areas of application, and impact on naval warfare.
