Rezumat
Lucrarea prezintă studiu l privind testarea materialelor cu po tențial în amortizarea șocurilor . În prima parte a studiului sunt prezentate tipurile de teste omologate pentru testarea căștilor de mo tocicletă. În partea a doua sunt prezentate metodologia
ș i rezultatele experimentale privind eficiența diminuării impactului asupra craniului a căștilor de protecție a motocicliștilor. În acest sens, s a utilizat un cap un cap de manechin din silicon fixat în locul imp actorului pe mașina de testare la impact. Ulterior, pe capul de manechin a fost fixată casca de protecție, repetandu se testele de impact pe diferite suprafețe ( materiale), de la înălțimi definite. Rezultatele au evidențiat faptul că atât c asc a de protecție , cât și structura suprafeței de impact a re un rol foarte important in amortizarea șocurilor.

Abstract
The paper presents the study on the testing of materials with potential in shock absorption. In the first part of the study, the types of tests approved for testing motorcycle helmets are presented. In the second part, the methodology and experimental results are presented regarding the effectiveness of reducing the impact on the skull of motorcycle helmets. In
this regard, a silicone dummy head fixed in place of the impactor on the impact testing machine was used. Afterwards, the protective helmet was fixed on the dummy head, repeating the impact tests on different s urfaces (materials), from defined heights. The results highlighted the fact that both the protective helmet and the structure of the impact surface have a very important role in shock absorption.
