Rezumat
Masinile de sortat si calibrat cartofi au ca rol separarea cartofilor sanatosi si corespunzatori din punct de vedere calitativ de impuritati (pietre, bulgari de pamant, resturi vegetale), cartofi alterati, cartofi vatamati. In functie de principiul de functionare, masinile de sortat si calibrat cartofi fi: mecanice, optice si gravimetrice. Prezenta lucrare are rolul de a prezenta tipuri constructive de masini de sortat/ calibrat cartofi ale principalelor firme producatoare de echipamente din industria cartofului. Aceste masini de sortat/ calibrat cartofi au la baza principiile de functionare prezentate in literatura de specialitate

Abstract
The sorting and sizing machines have the main role of separating healthy potatoes and potatoes that correspond qualitative from the foreign bodies (rocks, soil clods, vegetal remaining), altered potatoes, damaged potatoes. Depending on the sorting principle, sorting and sizing machines may be: mechanical, optical and gravimetrical. The present paper has the aim of presenting constructive types of sorting/ sizing machines of the main productive firms of equipment from the potato industry.
