Rezumat
Studiul analizează diverse soluții de atenuare a impactului frontal la karturile de competiție, având ca scop principal protejarea pilotului în caz de coliziune. Se iau în considerare diferite materiale și design-uri ale atenuatorilor de impact, precum și eficiența acestora în absorbția energiei de impact. Prin utilizarea simulărilor și testelor practice, se determină cele mai eficiente soluții care îmbunătățesc siguranța fără a compromite performanțele vehiculului. De asemenea, se analizează conformitatea acestor soluții cu standardele și reglementările competițiilor de karting.

Abstract
The study examines various frontal impact attenuation solutions for racing karts, with the main aim of protecting the driver in the event of a collision. Different materials and designs of impact attenuators are considered, as well as their effectiveness in absorbing impact energy. Using simulations and practical tests, the most effective solutions are determined that improve safety without compromising vehicle performance. The conformity of these solutions with karting competition standards and regulations is also analysed.
